Liam completes 100KM walk for Great Ormond Street Hospital

Employee Liam hasn't been relaxing this August bank holiday weekend. He spent his time taking on the South Coast Challenge.

What is the South Coast Challenge?

The South Coast challenge involves walking, jogging or running 100KM (62 miles) overnight from Eastbourne to Arundel.

Why did Liam choose to take on this challenge?

Liam wanted to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital for the continued services and support that they provide to the children and their families who need it most. He also wanted to follow on from his previous challenges including London to Brighton in 2013 and London to Cambridge in 2015.

So, how did he do?

It was as challenging as it sounds and Liam suffered from blisters and pain from 60KM onwards. However he was determined not to let that stop him and he battled through, with an amazing achievement to show for it. He completed the challenge in a time of 25 hours, 23 minutes and 21 seconds, in position 195 and has managed to raise £530.00 for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

All of us at Professional Renaissance are very pleased with how Liam got on and find it fantastic that he has raised over £500 for Great Ormond Street.

We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has given their support and has donated towards Liam's walk.

There is still time if you would like to contribute to the money raised for Great Ormond Street. https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/liampipewalk
